Mysterious Edgar Allan Poe

Edgar Allan Poe was an American writer, poet, editor, and literary critic who lived 1809 – 1849. He is best known for his poems and short stories, particularly his tales of mystery and the gothic macabre. Edgar Allan Poe led a life filled with sorrow and pain and understandably his works tend to reflect his lifestyle by incorporating dark mysterious and melancholic elements.

Edgar Allan Poe is maybe best remembered for his mysterious poem ‘The Raven.’, which was published just 4years before the poet’s mysterious death at the early age of 40.
